Craig Shepherd

I have been involved with the Teacher Education Division of AECT for over ten years. During that time I served as a communications facilitator, Vice President of Communications, and Board Member at Large. My research interests focus on the use of technology to facilitate learner-centered informal and formal learning environments. I am particularly interested in designing environments that foster communication, engagement, reflection, and knowledge acquisition in distance-based settings. Recently, I've been partnering with school libraries, pre and inservice teachers, university faculty, K-12 students, and community partners to explore, facilitate, and disseminate STEM activities.
