My name is Logan Arrington, and I am running for President-Elect of the Research and Theory Division of AECT! I am an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology and Interim Associate Department Chair in the Department of Educational Technology and Foundations at the University of West Georgia. I obtained my Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies from Florida State University.
I have been involved with AECT since 2015, when I was one of the finalists for the Design and Development (then PacifiCorp) Competition. Leading up to the 2017 conference, I served as a D&D Board Associate. I also served as a coordinating committee member for the NATO AECT Design and Development Competition for the past three years. I am an active member of the Leadership Development Committee and assisted in planning the First Timer’s Orientation these past three years. Lastly, in 2019 I was a member of the Early Career Symposium, sponsored by RTD!
I look forward to the opportunity to serve RTD as a president-elect and to continue the division's excellent work! I appreciate your consideration!
