Cross-Cultural Research Award (supported by KSET)
SELF-NOMINATIONS ARE ALLOWED.
With the growing need for understanding global issues impacting modern societies, the past decade has witnessed a rapid increase in the demand for cross-cultural research. This award is designed to promote publication and dissemination of scholarly work that addresses cross-cultural or cross-national issues that have implications for the field of educational technology.
Any accepted proposal for the upcoming AECT Convention from any of AECTís divisions is eligible if meeting the review and selection criteria.
Relevance of topic to cross-cultural or cross-national issues in the field of educational technology
Originality, clarity and importance of topic.
Any paper submitted for this award must be an original unpublished work.
The selection of the winning paper will be the responsibility of the Cross Cultural Award Review Committee of the given year. The committee includes co-chairs, and one person from each of the following divisions and groups invited to participate on the award review committee.

Only a submission deemed meritorious will be selected for the award.
Among the accepted proposals for the Annual meeting for AECT, each division will be asked to nominate one paper that meets the criteria of the award. Nominations should be sent to:

Nature of Award: Includes a cash award and a plaque or certificate as well as the opportunity to publish in a refereed, scholarly research journal published by the Korean Society of Educational Technology (KSET).
