Graduate Student Assembly
Ethics Committee Representative
I am recently retired from the full-time workforce. While enjoying this retirement, I am also working very part-time for Texas A&M University as an Associate Director at the Secure America Institute. Additionally, I am completing my doctorate in Instructional Systems Design & Technology at Sam Houston State University.
I have spent eight years during the Reagan administration in the USAF as a Nuclear technician, and the last 30 years at Texas A&M University in a variety of Staff and Lab Instructor roles. I have facilitated college-level laboratories, designed, built, and supervised various engineering laboratories. I have also managed over 500 people in my tenure in higher education.
In the past 15 years I have spent much of my time at Texas A&M on various committees, including ethics panels, hiring and retention committees, and disciplinary panels. Recently have sat on the CTE board of Bryan ISD. My goal on any panel is to uphold the mandate of that panel with the highest level of honesty and professionalism. As a doctoral student, I would bring the same goals to the GSA ethics position.
I thank you for your consideration.
