I am a Ph.D. Candidate and research assistant at Penn State University. I have been active within the AECT and GSA for the past five years as an officer as well as a volunteer. For 2020-2021 term, I am serving as the Ethics officer.
In GSA I am involved in various ongoing projects. As a reviewer and organizing committee member for the annual GSA research symposium, I reviewed submissions and collaborated on writing review guidelines. As a co-editor of the GSA newsletter, I compiled, edited, and finalized submissions for the bi-annual newsletters. As a Research and Theory representative, I worked on AECT GSA leadership webinar series and a Graduate Member Musing TechTrends column highlighting the pathways to participation and leadership within the GSA and AECT broadly.
This year, I am running for the Technology Integrated Learning Division Representative for the Graduate Student Assembly. If chosen to serve, I plan to work on expanding the partnership between the GSA and TIL. Additionally, I want to work on conference planning and increasing GSA cooperation on Technology Integrated Learning Division' s projects. Thank you for your time and consideration.
