Matt Connell
Baker University
Matt Connell is an EdD Candidate at Baker University (Kansas) in Instructional Design and Performance Technology. Mr. Connell has worked in P-12 and Post-Secondary education for more than a decade and has many years of instructional design and technology designed instruction at all levels. As a college administrator, adjunct instructor, and former P-12 classroom teacher holding professional teaching certifications in multiple states, Mr. Connell brings a diverse background and perspective to the role. Mr. Connell joined AECT last year at the start of his EdD program to better understand the field. Shortly after that, he joined GSA and is now working with the Microlearning subgroup on the design team.
Mr. Connell hopes to continue the work of engagement in education and instruction, continue to find new and innovative ways to deliver instruction in our current world and bring together instructors and designers for the greater good of the profession.
