Jongpil Cheon

My name is Jongpil Cheon, and I am an an associate professor in the Instructional Technology program and a director of Center for Innovation in E-Learning at Texas Tech University. My research interests involve implementing immersive online learning environments and investigating advanced technologies for interactive learning.

I am honored to be running for DDL award manager as a board member-at-large. For more than 10 years, I have been a member of DDL and received different awards from Division of Distance Learning, Research and Theory, Design and Development and Emerging Learning Technology.

As a DDL award manager, I would work with all award coordinators and reviewers to make the award process seamless and award-winning products more visible to all AECT members.
