I am an Associate Professor of Learning, Design, and Technology at Oklahoma State University, where I teach classes and advise students in a fully online master’s degree program, a graduate certificate in online teaching program, and an on-campus PhD program. I earned my PhD in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology from Michigan State University in 2012. My research interests are diverse and include communication and community in online learning environments.
I am interested in serving as the Vice President of Records and Archives for DDL to contribute to AECT and to the division in which I’ve been most active. Although I have not previously held an officer position in the division, I have served as a reviewer for various awards and as a co-coordinator for the Crystal Award. As the secretary of my condominium owner’s association, I have experience taking minutes and keeping paper and electronic files organized for a volunteer board, and I would be honored to use those skills in service of DDL.
