Matthew L. Wilson

Dr. Matthew L. Wilson is an Assistant Professor in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation for the College of Education at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of Florida with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Educational Technology and a minor in Research and Evaluation Methodology along with a MAT in early childhood and elementary education from Willamette University.

Dr. Wilson’s teaching career ranges from PK to adult learners. At KSU, he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in teacher preparation on technology integration. Additionally, he also coordinates the Learning, Design, and Technology undergraduate degree. Before higher education, Dr. Wilson taught internationally for over eleven years.

Dr. Wilson’s current research focuses on digital citizenship and psychometric tool development related to technology-related anxiety. He has been published in top journals, like C&E and JRTE, as well as presented nationally and internationally. Dr. Wilson has received research awards from AERA and AECT
