Zeni Colorado-Resa
University of Oregon


Zeni Colorado-Resa is the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Academic Operations for the College of Education at the University of Oregon. Previously, she served as Associate Dean of The Teachers College and Professor in the Department of Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) at Emporia State University. She has worked in the IDT field at various levels and environments of education, serving as a computer resource teacher in K-12, an instructional designer, and a director of academic technology. Her research interests include educator preparation, technology management, self-regulated learning, social community in the classroom, and integrating technology into teaching. More recently, she has been involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects at the organizational level, including facilitating a focus group around identifying cultural barriers to higher education, as well as amember of the University Diversity and Inclusion Alliance and other groups.
  
Zeni has been involved with AECT since 2003, serving as proposal reviewer, President and later Board Representative for the Research and Theory Division, as well as serving on Nomination Committees for different years.  In addition, Zeni has served as Co-Chair for the 2012 and 2013 AECT Convention Planning Committees.  For these efforts, she has received AECT awards for Presidential Service and Division Service. Currently, Zeni serves on the AECT Organization and By-Laws Committee and Strategic Planning Committee.

As member of the CLT board, Zeni would bring an administrative leadership perspective to issues related to culture, learning, and technology as well as extensive knowledge of and experience within the AECT organization.
