Todd Adrian
Indian River State College

Todd Adrian is the Director of Instructional Design and Development for the Virtual Campus at Indian River State College.  Todd previously served as an instructional designer and currently supervises a team consisting of instructional designers and course developers.  He works with the Virtual Campus staff, faculty, and college administrators to design and develop online courses and provide support for college initiatives.  He has worked on several change management projects for the college, including transitions to a new learning management system and enterprise resources planning system.  Todd continues to serve on change management projects while working with teams requiring a systems thinking approach for planning and project management.

Todd is a doctoral student enrolled in the Instructional Design and Technology program at the University of West Florida.  Currently, he is working on his dissertation, focusing on the analysis of student acceptance and use of lecture capturing technology in higher education.  While attending the University of West Florida, Todd was introduced to AECT through the AECT Mentoring Project, sponsored by Dr. Nancy Hastings.  He attended monthly webinars which included guest speakers who were current and past AECT presidents and board members.  Todd traveled to the 2017 AECT Leadership Conference, where he became involved with the Systems Thinking and Change Division.  His desire to contribute and learn more about AECT and the STC division continued while attending the AECT International Convention.  Additionally, Todd has participated in the monthly STC division meetings.
