Eunjung (Grace) Oh

Eunjung Grace Oh is an assistant professor in the Human Resource Development program in the Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has had diverse professional experiences in higher education and corporate training as a HRD specialist, instructional designer, instructor, and consultant.

Her research interest includes teaching and learning in online and technology-enhanced learning environments to facilitate meaningful learning and engagement, different generational groups of workforce in terms of their learning, use of and perspective about technology, and design-based research as a methodological approach. Her Ph.D. is in Learning, Design and Technology from the University of Georgia, and she has taught at UGA and Georgia College and State University. Currently at UIUC, she teaches courses on Learning Technologies, Training Systems Design/Instructional Design, Introduction to eLearning, Management of eLearning, Program Evaluation and Adult and Professional Education. She is also a coordinator of the undergraduate Workplace Training and Development concentration of Learning and Education Studies program.

Grace has been a member of AECT over 15 years since she was a master’s student at Indiana University. Since then, AECT has made significant contributions to her career development. Particularly, she appreciates her experiences as a 2009 ECT foundation Cochran Intern and a participant of the 2014 NSF/AECT Early Career Research Symposium. As a member of this outstanding community, she is truly grateful for all the learning and development opportunities, exceptional services and strong collegiality that AECT has provided over the years. Recently, she served as a featured research coordinator of Research and Theory (RTD) division for 2017 AECT annual meeting. She continues to look forward to opportunities to work with RTD and AECT colleagues for the continued excellence of AECT.
