Daesang Kim
Valdosta State University

Dr. Kim is currently an associate professor of Instructional Technology in the department of Curriculum, Leadership, and Technology at Valdosta State University. He has been teaching a variety of Instructional Technology courses including research courses.

He holds a Ph.D. from Indiana State University, where he completed a doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction and Media Technology with an emphasis on Instructional Technology.  In addition to his Ph.D., he has been active in the education field for over a decade.

Dr. Kim’s passion concerning the needs of students and the meeting of demands as an educator has driven him to participate in diversified research and scholarly activities. He has utilized technology and innovative practices in both higher education and P-12 settings. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, in which he co-authored several articles depicting Instructional Technology. He has been a member of AECT since 2005 and is looking forward to an opportunity to serve the RTD division as a Member at Large.
