Coming from a small country of Southeast Asia named Bangladesh, made me feel special here in University of Idaho campus as many here do not even know about my country. My desire for sharing experience and getting opportunity to work for international student community helped me to get involved on campus with several organizations. Currently I am working as an international ambassador of International Programs Office at my university, cultural secretary for Bangladesh student association, chairman of diversity committee at graduate and professional student association and an active member of SNEA (student national educator association). Along with these current experiences, I also have 20 plus years of experience of working for several organizations as part of my teaching job. I found GSA division of AECT is a great platform for an international student like me to share and exchange ideas on continuous development of graduate students. I am confident about my experience of working in international schools in Bangladesh along with my current experiences would benefit GSA. In addition, International Division would be undoubtedly a great stand for me as part of GSA to make international graduate student's voice well heard.
