Younglong Rachel  Kim
Oklahoma State University

Younglong Rachel Kim is a PhD student in the Educational Technology department at Oklahoma State University, where I also teach an undergraduate applications of educational technology course and works as a graduate research assistant at the Emerging Technologies & Creativity (ETC) Research Lab. Before beginning the PhD program, I was a K12 teacher in Korea, and has also worked with international programs at private schools in New York, New Jersey, and California. I have contributed to several Korean government-sponsored projects to study and promote educational applications of 3D printing, and have served as a consultant to assist middle school teachers with Flipped Learning methods. My research interests center on providing practical help to teachers and students. Currently, I am focusing on using 3D printers in math, history, or other lessons for improving learners' motivation and learning achievement. Transformative Learning, Technology Integration, AR, and Creativity are also included in my interests. One of my goals is to build a school where technologies effectively support disadvantaged students. As an officer of Division of Emerging Learning Technologies, I will actively support DELT. It was honoring to meet president and past president at the AECT conference in Kansas City. Thank you for taking your time to read this!
